Eyes on Us: Masterpieces from the National Gallery, London

In celebration of the 140th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and the United Kingdom, the National Museum of Korea is bringing a total of 52 stunning European masterpieces from the collection of the National Gallery, London. Spanning the Renaissance to the Baroque and Impressionism movements, the exhibition is set to feature recognizable oil paintings by Raphael, Caravaggio, Velazquez, Van Dyke, Rembrandt, Manet, Monet, Renoir, Gauguin and Van Gogh, among many more.

Museum of Korea, presents over 300 earthenware figurines and vessels from ancient Korean civilizations. The figurine-decorated pottery items on display were used in funerary rituals of Silla and Gaya Kingdoms to accompany the souls of the deceased in their afterlife journey. Through artifacts that include 15 state-designated national treasures and treasures, visitors are offered a glimpse into the ancient cultural beliefs from over 1,600 years ago.
