Choi Min Collection: Ways of Seeing

Between the years 2019 and 2020, 161 artworks and some 25,000 related archival materials amassed by art critic Choi Min (1944-2018) during his lifetime were donated to the Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA) by his family members. The paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints and photos produced by 25 artists that Choi collected over the years are currently on display at the museum, along with the critic’s writing to offer his “ways of seeing” the works.
