Norwegian vocalist, instrumentalist and composer Siril Malmedal Hauge has been active in the country’s music scene for years. With her musical roots in jazz, Siril offers a distinct vocal style that marries intensity with sensitivity. In 2021, she was nominated for Spellemannprisen — often dubbed as the Norwegian Grammy Awards — for Best Jazz Album for “Slowly, Slowly.” Her touring concert, “Blues and Bells,” joined by pianist Kjetil Mulelid, celebrates the recent release of the duo’s album of the same title.
