Sinawi Music Store II: Orchestra with Commentary

Experience the unique performance featuring a selection of pieces curated by Jang Tae-pyeong, the assistant conductor of the Gyeonggi Sinawi Orchestra and an emerging figure in the Korean traditional music scene. To add to the experience, music critic Yoo Eun-seon will provide expert commentary. The performance will showcase pieces inspired by the rhythm of Gyeonggi minyo, or folk songs, and Gyeonggi dodang-gut, a shamanistic ritual performed for the villagers’ welfare.
