Retired general gives RAS talk

Chun In-bum, a retired lieutenant general of the Republic of Korea Army, will give a talk for Royal Asiatic Society (RAS) Korea next Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., titled “An Understanding of the Korean Military: Past and Present.”

“This lecture will seek to understand the military situation on the Korean Peninsula and remind the participants that ‘Freedom is Not Free,’” the organizers said in an online invitation.

The lecture will be held in a hybrid format, in person at RAS Korea headquarters and online through Zoom. Attendance costs 10,000 won but is free for RAS members and students.
