Fears are growing over a shutdown of the Korean government’s key functions next year, as the national budget bill was still adrift, Thursday, a day before its deadline amid continued partisan gridlock.
The Korean economy is losing steam fast, with its twin engines – exports and domestic demand – falling at the same time. In particular, plunging exports and widening trade deficits are boding ill for the economy, multiple data showed Thursday.
