The Buddhist Sculpture in Japan: Collection from Tokyo National Museum National Museum of Korea Until Oct. 9

Korea, China and Japan all shared the culture of Buddhism, with many similarities as well as differences found within the history of the religion. The National Museum of Korea’s current exhibition focuses on distinctive characteristics found in Japanese Buddhism through five representative sculptures. The pieces come from the collection of the Tokyo National Museum.
