Green Gugak

Namdosori Theater Until July 9

Jeollanamdo Provincial Institute for Korea Traditional Performing Arts has started its three-month concert series, “Green Gugak,” that will be held every Saturday until July 9. Each stage will feature different musical genres, such as folk songs from the southern region, “pansori,” traditional orchestral music, and “gayageum” performance. Throughout the summer season, audiences can enjoy both iconic folk songs and more creative, daring pieces.
